Terms and conditions
1. About us
This website is operated by The Brown Stuff, Photography by Russell Brown. When you place an order, you are purchasing directly from us.
2. Products
Products include both physical items (such as prints) and digital downloads (such as wallpapers). Physical products are made to order. Each item is produced specifically for you once your order is placed.
As all images are viewed on digital devices, colours, brightness, and contrast may appear differently depending on the screen used, including phones, tablets, and computer displays. Printed products may therefore differ slightly in colour, tone, or finish from how they appear on screen.
Digital products (such as wallpapers) are provided for personal use only. They may not be copied, redistributed, resold, or used for commercial purposes without prior permission. By purchasing a digital product, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use.
3. Ordering
By placing an order, you confirm that all details you provide are accurate. We reserve the right to cancel orders if there is an error in pricing or product information.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at the point of order.
5. Delivery
Orders are fulfilled and shipped via a trusted print partner. Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on location and production times.
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or events outside our control, but we will always do our best to help resolve any issues.
For international orders, any customs duties, taxes, or import charges are the responsibility of the customer. These are set by the destination country and are outside our control.
6. Returns and refunds
As most physical items are made to order, you do not have the right to cancel or return your order for a change of mind once production has started.
For digital downloads, by completing your purchase and accessing the download, you agree that the product is supplied immediately and that you lose your right to cancel.
This does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty or not as described.
7. Damaged or faulty items
If your order arrives damaged or with a production fault, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
We may ask for photographs to assess the issue. If confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund.
8. Print quality and colour
We take care to ensure high-quality reproduction of all images. However:
• Slight cropping differences may occur depending on format and aspect ratio
• Minor variations in colour, tone, or finish may occur due to the printing process
These are not considered faults.
9. Third-party fulfilment
We use professional third-party print and fulfilment partners to produce and deliver certain orders.
While we remain responsible for your order, production and delivery are carried out by these partners. In rare cases, delays or issues may arise outside our direct control.
10. Limitation of liability
Our liability to you is limited to the total value of your order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of enjoyment or expectation.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
11. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our control. This includes supplier failure, shipping disruption, or service outages.
If such an event occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to fulfil your order or provide an appropriate resolution.
12. Contact
If you have any questions or issues with your order, please contact:
